 no, welll, i have a front wheel (spank subrosa rim laced on a hope pro 2 20mm hub, with dt swiss competition DB spokes) and i have a set of Mavic Crossride Wheels (great condition, front wheel has been used for a month and the rear for 3 or so months)

 That is indeed a crossride rim, purely on there since I ran out of money! Held up pretty well actually. only thing is is that the rim width obviously isn't made for dh, so it almost pinches the inner tube, so had a couple of flats, but it's held up well, think you could get away using them for something like 4x
